Get to Know Carlie Better

In today’s post, I asked my sister 10 questions, so you all can get to know her better.

Question #1: Are you named after anyone?

“Yes, my first name came from both of my grandfathers. Their names were Carl and Arlie, so my parents chose to merge those two together to make Carlie. My middle name is Paige and my parents just chose that to go along with Carlie for no particular reason.”

Question #2: What is your favorite pastime?

“This is a tough question. If I had to pick one thing, it would be researching future trips and watching vlogs on places I’m interested in visiting.”

Question #3: What is your Starbucks order?

“My Starbucks order is a Venti Iced Matcha Latte, regular milk, with sweet cream cold foam on top.”

Question #4: Do you collect anything?

“Movie Tickets! I have saved every movie ticket since 2014 and have plans of showcasing them in some way in the future.”

Question #5: What is your favorite season?

“My favorite season is Summer. I enjoy the warmer weather. It always puts me in a great mood. I like wearing shorts and tank tops more than anything. I am more motivated in the summer and I feel like you can do a lot more activities.”

Question #6: Are you an early bird or a night owl?

“A night owl. I have always been one to stay up rather late, but in the past few years my typical schedule is going to bed around 10:30-11:00 and getting up between 8:00am and 9:00am on the weekends. I do have a tendency to stay up later on the weekends when I do not have to get up for work in the mornings.”

Question #7: What is your hidden talent?

“This is an interesting question. If anything my hidden talent would be planning trips and creating itineraries. If I were to get a second job, it would probably be to become a travel agent.”

Question #8: What are you most passionate about?

“Probably having a good work life balance. I have been determined as a student all of my life to pursue my dream of becoming a physician, but I also like to have fun outside of work and have other hobbies I enjoy. I like running, reading, shopping, and hanging out with family/friends.”

Question #9: What is one item on your bucket list that you would like to complete this year?

“To complete a second half marathon and PR (personal record) it.”

Question #10: What was the best vacation you ever took and why?

“Without a doubt, the Utah Mighty 5 trip I took with Jessie last year. I had never been out west and the landscapes were just AMAZING! Roadtripping, hiking, and seeing 5 different National Parks all in one trip was the perfect vacation. If I were to pick a beachier vacation, I would choose the cruise I went on with Jessie, my aunt, and uncle back in 2013 to Haiti, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel.”
